My PH is around 8 as well. Mines colors are just somewhat faded and mine does absolutely NOTHING. He sits on the bottom all day until I feed him, then he eats, and lays back on the bottom. Just a really boring fish to me, I would rather have something that moves around some.

I have had him for about a year and a half, generaly i think they grow quicker but he got ick when he was smaller and he was sick for a wile but finily he got thru it, he didnt eat for about a month even. luckily hes all better now and growing steady, iv had him since about 2". right now hes in a 90g but im upgrading him to a 193g in the next few months.
