My favorite little mutt

Rally, are you into photography professionally or is it just a hobby cause your photos are always top notch. I remember reading that you use a D50, I am looking into getting a camera, what do you think of the D40? BTW the fish looks good as well.

Thanks everyone. I'll try to get some pix of the parents up. I know I have one of the Livingstoni but I may have to take a pic of the other.

Nova, the D40 is a great little camera if you don't want to switch lenses. The lenses on the D40 are a lot more expensive because of the focusing mechanism that's built into it. If you want to eventually get a collection of lenses (macro, telephoto, wide angle, etc), spring for the D80. Unfortunately the D50 is discontinued. IMO it's the best entry level DSLR. On the upside, the D80 has a LOT of useful features that are absent on the lower end cameras. Thanks for the compliments:) Photography is just something I enjoy.

I'm sorry the mother wasn't a a red fin borleyi. It was a drab blue fish and I can't find a picture of it. Unfortunately it jumped out of the tank when she was holding. The little mutt is the only one that survived. (Rallysb1tch reminded me of that)
I did find the father though.

I looked through 3 issues of AFM one afternoon, just trying to find a pic better than his Jaguar pic. I found none.

Has it been fed hormonal food?, because if it has it will soon loose it's color.

Nope. It has been fed freeze dried krill, Hikari gold, Omega1 flakes, and blood worms.
