More of a generalized rationalization.

Thought so. Do your homework before calling anybodies opinions false.

Just because you read somewhere that all astronotus might be the same fish doesn't make it fact. Right now its just speculation. Until it is proven that its just a color morph, they will be referred to as separate species.

why are fhso aggressive? mine is pretty chill... what kind of fh is it? do you know?

Why so agro? They are territorial. Same reasons why a silverback gorilla attacks if you intrude. Hes defending his food intake, breeding rights, and stomping grounds.

Trust me, you have the aggressive kind. Its called a Zhen Zhou flowerhorn or ZZ. Yours wont be aggressive as some considering its a female and has a much larger tankmate, So you should be fine.

thanks mate. what kind of fish is that in your avatar? and what fish do you cross to get the fh?

Its called a Fader. Its a flowerhorn with the same fading attribute as that of a Midas/ Red devil/ blood parrot.

The fish is alot more complex than just crossing 2 species. It is the product of upwards of 20 years of selective breeding. Most fish like these are bred on big fish farms in SE asia. They are renown for their quality flowerhorns.

so good my fh and blood parrot breed? or just fh and fh?

You can breed flowerhorn with parrots but you have a female flowerhorn so you would need a male flowerhorn because male blood parrots are typically sterile.
