actually you don't make much profit unless you're specifically breeding and selling. You have to factor in the water, electricity and food, filters, etc that you spend just to maintain the fish. I've seen fish of that quality go for 100-200 easily.
If I had the money and I didn't have my current flowerhorn and a free tank, I would pay about 75-100$ for that. Partly bacause It cost a lot of money ship a fish so it would cost more to buy a smaller one of the same quality. IMO nice fish, yoiu were kinda riped off but it's not horrible.
IMO, the single flowerhorn is better than a palanted tank. Still the planted tank is nice.
