I received my first asians this morning. I have four 6" red tail golden aro's in my 180g with three cichla and two rays.

They are still quite stressed from shipping so I'll take some pictures later when they are swimming around happily and I can switch the lights on.

I can't wait till they get bigger so I can watch a group of golden monsters swimming round my tank.

WOW, that's alot for a 180, hope you have great filtration and an upgrade coming down the road.. Can't wait to see the pics though.. Wish we could have RTG here i'd have some too..:)

Planning an upgrade to a 8x3x2 and I'll be moving the cichla to another tank when they all get bigger.
Got two big canisters on the tank rated at least 900g per hour.

pics!!!!!!!!!!!

nice :D hope they dont fight

I'm a little worried about these fish. They seem to be swimming strange. They are swimming around upright but it seems as though they are floating. When they swim down they look like they float back up to the surface. One of them is fine and swims a couple of inches below the surface but the others are worrying me.
Is this serious or are they just still stressed and settling in? Anyone experienced this before?
Here's some pics of them.

no worries just stressed just watch out they might fight and nice

They are small and you are running two filters thats flow 900gph each The current maybe too rough for them. Plus they are still stressed out from shipping. Give them time they will come around
