They are small and you are running two filters thats flow 900gph each The current maybe too rough for them. Plus they are still stressed out from shipping. Give them time they will come around

It's 900gph between the filters. Flow is a little bit fast on one of them but it is adjustable so I've turned it down a bit. Two out of four are swimming okay now. I think it's just because they are not used to such a large tank and are intimidated by the cichla a bit. It's only the 6" orino that pays any attention to them anyway.
I was told it would take a few hours for them to settle but I think it will be days.
I'll take better pics when they are completely settled.

your lights might be stressing em out a little but they will get used to it

I would keep an eye on their fins to watch and monitor for fin biting as well. Nice red tail goldens.

One of them is upside down. I think it's on it's way out. It's belly looks a bit inflated. I'm gonna have to get on to my supplier. I hate it when stuff like this happens.

dam your aro is really stressed hope it makes it

they are so cute!!

Okay so two of them are doing great. One of them has died and the other is not looking good either. The dead one has been returned and I've been offered a replacement but I'll have to wait and see how the other one gets on.
My excitement has turned to stress.
I've noticed they only fight if I switch the lights on so I've been keeping them off.

Firstly, no body will suggest only 3 pieces for com. As aggression will be too concentrated among them. Minimum will be 5 pieces and still there will be chances of fights among them but not as concentrated.

As for the floating part, I believe you did not climatise your fish properly thus the sudden change cause them to float...

I wont suggest you getting replacement until you intend to have at least 5 in your tank.

I bought four but one died. I'll have to look in to getting one or two more as well as the replacement.
As far as climatising the fish goes, I was very careful just as I was with all my cichla and my rays. One of the aro's was leaning on it's side occasionally when it arrived so it must have had a swim bladder problem already. I'm guessing it could have happened during shipping.
