I bought four but one died. I'll have to look in to getting one or two more as well as the replacement.
As far as climatising the fish goes, I was very careful just as I was with all my cichla and my rays. One of the aro's was leaning on it's side occasionally when it arrived so it must have had a swim bladder problem already. I'm guessing it could have happened during shipping.
How did you acclimate?

by the looks of it he just float bag and netted it right?

Maybe you can tell us the steps you did as in how you climatise your aros?

I kept the aros in their bags. Then I filled the poly box with tank water up to the level of water in the bags to start matching the temperature. After 10 mins I added half a cup of tank water to the bags every 5 mins until it was two thirds tank water, one third shipping water. I then floated the bags in the tank for 15 mins before tipping the bags sideways and allowing them to swim out the bag.
What method do you usually use? Thanks

No, that would just be stupid! When they arrived one of them was already tipping on it's side and the water was very cold. I don't know what can cause swim bladder problems. Any ideas?

I normally put the fish in a small tank with there shipping water. I then use a small "air hose" with a valve to drip water from there eventual new home into the shipping water tank. The drip should be about enough to double there shipping water volume in 45 mins. After 45 min of a slow drip I increase it for the last 15 min to fill the tank which you should now have reached 1/4 shipping water 3/4 new tank water. Total time one hour. I then monitor the fish and if all is well put them in there new home. This has so far always worked well for me.
