My First Background....experimenting

So i did some more searching... this is what i found on some of these pumps....i want a good pump but dont want to pay in the long run with electricity.. My girlfriend has put up with me but i dont want her to get mad or say something when the bill comes....lol.... well i searched and hopefully the are right...I was able to check that i can afford all these pumps even the MAG24 but when i saw the watts on it was like wow..265W...the MAG 12 is decent with 110W ...was thinking going with 2 quiet one 4000 that will be like 130w for both at 991 gph....each..then i saw the eihem 5000 wilth an adjustable flow but its maximum head flow is 9.8.......UGGGGGGHHHH is so frustrating......... can you guys/girls give me some input please!!!!! have 200 dollars thats my limit!!!! thanks..

Well i went with the MAG drive 18 for those who are still interested in my thread...i got it for 134...so lets see how it works.... my sump is a 55 gallon that i bought on craigslist will have to do mods to the lower part of my stand....
 
So I went to home depot today I bought pipe for my returns and wood for my other project I have...spent like 60 bucks......no bueno...girl hasn't told me anything so I don't know if that's a good thing or not..lol
 
Well heres a video of my tanks overflows had to cut open the hole where the pipes go in on the background ..so have to seal that part again...was playing around with the overflows to where they were quiet....they still sound a little but not to much had to close the ball valve its open 3/4 of the way i think these over flows can handle a bigger pump .. I think this is way enough water flow.... Its a Mag 18....thought it would sound quieter but oh well..here a video hopefully it come out..sorry about video not to profesional..
