Wow, Satana you have done an awesome job with your 3D back ground, only if I had the time and skills like your, I'd be selling them. Back grounds really enhance the look of an aquarium. Great job, especially considering its yor first. Being a person that's trying to simply install a purchased BG and I am struggling. I take my hat off to you from doing it from scratch. BRAVO!!!

Yeah, as a hobby it's definitely fun to get paid for building backgrounds. When i had more free time I did several for friends and friends of friends, but then I stopped because some of the people i was making them for weren't getting exactly what they wanted and it took all the fun out of it. The friends were cool, but when I started doing them for people I didn't know I lost interest. It would really burn me up when we'd have the plans set and then they would change the layout of the tank (or even the size) to the point that i would have to make massive modifications to the background or scrap sections of it because they changed filters or wanted to do something different.
Thanks I thought about doing some backgrounds and some of those small little fish tanks but I need to finish my projects before I do other for anyone else...I have like 6 projects going on now..so lots of work...work n kids....so u know how it goes..thanks for the comments
Well I think I'm getting kicked out of my home.....I just purchased another fishtank. Damn you craigslist....well I needed to find a used beat up fishtank for my sump....so I saw an ad and I went to see it ..there was a sump looks about 20 to 30 gallons some salt because it was a salt set up they had...it'd an 85 gallon .. stand is not that great and a real aquarium light..not like my cheapo walmart light.....some bioballs.or bio media because they are not ball...has some carbon ..container for water.. net.gravel cleaner.the only thing I don't like is that it has those dumb pvc pipes ..tank is drilled.... but can't complaint..I got everything for 60 bucks..
Tanks. ..LOL..I need to start concentrating on it.got a little sidetracked with the new/used tank I got...and working on my car and bike tomorrow I will be finishing up overflows need to fix one I glued it. Wrong..its supposed to be facing the opposite way.then paintingthem..need to go get some paint because I don't have enough since I used it to paint my background for my 55g..well let's see what I come up with tomorrow..well today cuz is after 12..
