Good looking fish, hopefully more blue comes out.
They are always Blue and don't know any other colors, except get more black spots when stressed. Its all on lighting and angles...and of course, Mood. Aha, unless you mean Darker Blue. But Light Blue is already blue regardless

Lol, if you say it like that then everything is ok with anything. Now if we get to the nitty gritty then a 2" EBJ would not do so well with 2" Oscar, but a 4" EBJ should do well for awhile til the Oscar over eats and becomes fat and mean. With all that said anyone can do as they please.
However, I kept my EBJs with their siblings and eventually as time passed I had to put all the runts (pretty much only EBJs) in their own tank. Only 1 EBJ was dominant and is still outgrowing all the rest of the batch. Lemme show you the size difference btw Brothers of same batch.
