My first flowerhorn. Short body Thai Silk

While some fh do have G.I. problems, it's usally more of a concern with sb fish because of organ compression. Pre-soaking freeze dried foods may help prevent problems. Many people give a weekly treat of peas to help combat G.I. problems, if whole peas are too big for your sb, crush the pea/split the skin of the pea before feeding. I myself have kept many sb, and never once had any trouble.

Gorgeous fish btw!

In my opinon looks are relative, if I were to break this fish down one trait at a time, I could probably find flaws, but overall he's a decent looking fish imo. To me, it all comes down to this, if you think it's a good looking fish, it is. Also, good looking as opposed to what? If you're comparing it to a masterpiece RT then no, it's not a very attractive fish. If however, you're taking it's looks at face value, it's a very attractive fish indeed.
