My first (four) yellow apple snails!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
haha true true. Also i notice they like to bury themselves deep in the gravel. What are they doing?

thanks alot, you really are an expert on invertebrates. I just realised you own a store selling them. Must be fun working and enjoying the hobby at the same time.

I started with just a handful of tanks and its grown. I still think of it as more my hobby, I just pay taxes and import now as well as run over 60 tanks.

Awsome my Snail is so cute when he eats at the tank glass. Also did you know they can grow about the size of a soda can?

not this species. Some species of apple snail do get to softball sized or so. This species tends to max out at about golfball size.

I always thought they're saying, "Nom nom nom..." ;)

They just ate the mealworms meant for my bichirs. ROFL! I placed the mealworms on a feeding tray with a piece of plastic piece attached to a suction cup. They climbed the wall, onto the suction cup, along the piece of plastic and onto the feeding tray.

Clever critters LOL!!
