A sump is doable on the pond you would just use a pump to the sump and gravity would be used for the return.
What I am thinking is a 100 gallon rubbermaid stock tank as the sump, make an shelf from light difussers and add bio ball(I have a 55 gallon drum full)another shelf for filter material and the heaters can go in the sump too.
use the magdrive pump I have to pump into a spray bar.
Only thing I will have to buy is the stock tank whick is 76.99 from tractor supply.
