Thanks guys! I have some more pics I'm gonna upload too. Here are some pics showing how interactive NA native sunfish can be and my greenie hiding in his log about to ambush a fish(this was before I knew feeders were bad but they were mostly fed bloodworms with feeders once a week)

Native fish sure are fun.
 
i need to get into natives... made plans to many times but never followed through. maybe that'll be next for the 55 only on a smaller scale, Green sunfish are my favorite and if i could get a pair to spawn i could have home grown northern bait :grinno:
 
You're lucky to have the darter diversity. We have a few neat ones but only a few.

I'm growing one out right now. Still a puny little bait fish but the colors are showing early. Can't wait for it to get big.

I loved my hybrid sunfish. He was full of personality and quite pretty, not to mention he grew from 2" to 6" in around 8 months. Not sure if that's good, bad or normal but it seems faster than most sunfish that I've kept. Good luck with yours.
