my first "monster/Native" tank

I loved my hybrid sunfish. He was full of personality and quite pretty, not to mention he grew from 2" to 6" in around 8 months. Not sure if that's good, bad or normal but it seems faster than most sunfish that I've kept. Good luck with yours.

I want to get one that is crossed with a blueish phenotype green sunfish.

Not the best image but you can see the one I had for a little while. This was about a week or two after high color cichlid pellets.

Nice. Mine mostly ate goldfish and bloodworms. Before I knew the risks of feeder fish but I got lucky with him. He also really enjoyed African cichlid fry lol.
