put a ad on craigslist hoping to maybe get a hit on cheap glass the next morning i get a email from a woman saying her husband has some glass so i ask her what it is she says its 3/4 tempered glass six foot by four foot.....so i think hey maybe a good deal here i ask her how much she wants she replies 15$ OMG so i went and grabbed it and will get it cut down tomorrow so it fits in

Good deal but you can't cut it now that it has been tempered. Just a chip to the edge will see that piece explode. If you want tempered, it has to be cut to size first and then tempered.
