Slice the prawn up in to thin slithers, you can also try white bait for human consumption and some people call it krill. It's about 2 inches long and has 2 little black dots for eyes. they are about quarter of an inch or less in diameter. My little rays that are only 2 weeks old love it and also sinking shrimp pellets that are a quarter inch in diameter.
 
I agree with everyone else i just bought a retic pup and he is feeding well on ghost shrimp and blackworms but you really need to feed him alot your ray looked just like mine weight wise and within one week he has fattened up well.
 
I agree with everyone else i have a retic pup only a few weeks old and he feeds well on ghost shrimp and blackworms but feed your little guy alot every 2 to 4 hours hes a little under weight from what i could see like my little guy was but wihtin 1 week my pup has fattened right up:naughty:
