Yeah, fluidized are very nice setups, but takes more money and time because it's not a 1 shot and perfect type setup. My 55gal sump is fluidized and as stated, is quite loud and I have so much flow going through the sump, that I run an overkill air pump to keep the K1 from getting pushed to one end of the chamber. I use the air more so on one side of the chamber and let the inflowing water move it on the other side of the chamber. Best way I found to handle it.
