My First SW tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Well, its been s while since I’ve been here.

The tank is doing great. I’ve been adding a lot of SPS to it these past few months and they are growing like weeds. It seams like every second week I have to increase my daily dosing amount to keep up with the increasing demand of growing corals.

I am actually getting ready to start a 120 gallon set-up in the next few months.

The below pic of my 90 gallon is about 2 weeks old now

Well done man, that rock is starting to look awesome!

Glad to have you back...roll with this tank for awhile...let some stuff grow in. Although that naso is going to need a new home quick.

Thanks Guys

Fleshy: The NSO tang will be moved into my 120 gallon as soon as it is cycled (new thread to come) . I've found some info were some have outgrown 120s while others have been OK. If he outgrows the 120, he has a home in my friends 400 gallon FOWLR if it is needed

Sounds good to me!

I would never attempt even a juvenile in anything less than a 180g...they say that they can still die just from not having enough room.

Haven’t post here in a while so I thought I would share some new pics. Here’s what the tank looks like today. I took this pic a few weeks ago.

I also moved the BTA so I could make room for a new red carpet anemone.

During the past 6 months I have been noticing a lot of coral growth.

Here’s a pic of my two arcos a few weeks after I got them

They have been growing so fast, I had to separate them. Here’s a few pics that I took yesterday
