So I have been building a shed/outhouse for the last couple of weeks was trying to track with photos thought this be best archive for me to use lol plus thought I'd share. I have always struggled for space having a family 3 young kids and a amazing gf moved about alot but settled in her "hometown" for a couple years now. Finally convinced her and the landlord (I rent) to let me build on half my back area. So it's a 19ft x 8.5ft space raised up in my back garden with walled around and fenced on the back Il attach pics problem was it wasn't square or level so I had to build some up and some out to square it off. Ground work was easy done that some 7-4 years ago. Decided I was going with slabs for the floor and incorporating the wall around the garden. Also covered steps with wood and painted cause the landlord said I couldn't remove them. Placed a hep2o pipe for water and put a drainage pipe in where I'm gonna place sink. After a ton and a half of type one and bricked up and build out then a ton of sand and some 50-60 slabs later got the floor as level as I could. Considering the run it was in pleased with how they turned out and cemented into the wall hunching(just eye pleasing Lol. Then the posts went in had to attach holders through the slabs and cement base for the last 3. Then beams flew up. I'm throwing up panels to give a frame then outer side will be plastic sheeted and cladded to finish. The inner side will be insulated and plastic sheeted then cladded to an inside finish. Managed to do both sides and back today also made a concrete hunch where the panels meet the wall so water runs off. Roof panels come tomorrow its pitched back to run away from shed it will be guttered in the end. Collected my door and windows today a steal at the size of them still need to get pics of them but I am so happy with what progress I've made in about 2 weeks. End game get they big tanks I could never have and donate a corner to a raised up bricked Nd insulated pond it will have its own fuse board and circuit and I plan to run a greenhouse heater for heat obv just be trail and error with ventilation and Ideal temps anyways wish me luck guys lol
