I Really Really Really am in love with your catfish tank. Beautiful ripsaw catfish!!! That is one big boy
Thank you. These fish continue to grow on me. I always thought they were cool, but as they have gotten bigger their personalities are really coming out, and they are turning into fun fish. They kind of epitomize why I love big catfish.

Make a feeding vid please!!! i love your catfish!! great fish!
I'll cut you a deal. You'll have to wait a couple weeks for a feeding video, but that's because I'll be posting it along with some underwater video I'll be shooting from inside the tank. I've got to make sure to have all my gear ready, have time to prep my hair so I don't contaminate the water with soaps and perfumes, and have my hubby around and ready to help.

It's been an exceedingly demanding last week, so I haven't gotten to finish the fish stuff I've been working on.

Dude, so awesome. Those cats are so cool, I love the body on them....the ripsaw ones. Very cool 600 gallon stocking, I love it.
Thanks. All the cats have their own personalities which I find cute and interesting, and I am continually fascinated by their bizarre anatomy.

Question WetWhiskers: would Niger Catfish pierce holes or seriously scratch pond liners, you think?
Can't tell you how many people I've asked this question to. I'm currently trying to figure out if they could pierce the Firestone 45mm rubber stuff.

nice fish room and awesome 600 gallon!!!
Thank you. It's in a continuous state of improvements. We're always working on bigger and better.

I can say first hand, they can & will poke holes in the liner. When startled, they swish their tails, leaving tears & holes in the liner. The ID sharks, that they are with, seem to be causing this problem.
What kind of liner was it, and how big were the cats? I've found that their spines are significantly duller as they have grown, but their strength and size is crazy. I would be concerned that at this size they wouldn't just poke a hold, but shred it. I'm specifically looking at the Firestone liners, but can't seem to get any first hand experience from anyone.

some fishes inside that black pond?
Of course.
3x 8.5-10" flagtails
1 good sized silver clown knife of unknown size
1 royal clown knife thats probably 12" or so
4 small koi (in a separated area)
5x 8.5"-11" gold and silver tinfoil barbs
along with handful of catfish and other fish.
I'm looking to move a bunch of fish around, so the current inhabitants will be changing dramatically.
