My fish room smell. Help i need all know ways to keep smell down in a fish room

You don't need to keep Central Americans (or most tropical fish for that matter) 82 degrees. My fishroom is usually mid-70s (and I keep primarily new world cichlids). Turn your heaters (or thermostat down) - More than enough energy savings to permit a fan

Tell me please that your sleeping area is separate from the small room with hundreds of gallons of fish tanks / rotten fish for 5+ days? Was your girlfriend stuck in it until you got home?

Lol no. If she saw the dead fish she would have taken it out ..
The rooms window was cracked open and door shut.
The smell is now gone think god.
I used 1/2 gal of charcoal its sill in the tank. And three bags of nitra zorb in hob's. And I lit a candle.
My gf went in room today and said the room smell good like the candle.
But she yelled at me for leaving it lit and not telling her it was in there.

Have you considered purchasing an Ionizer? I work in the veterinary industry and I must say that many veterinary clinics use ionizers to remove odors. They do work.

Wow I had one years ago. And it stoped working, and never replaced.
That's a great idea.

I ment 1/2 gal of carbon not charcoal.lol humm wander if charcoal would work ?
