Damn, that sucks bluecan. Your male is a perfect mp and I hope he's fertile you never know until he trys so good luck. I will try and find some way to set you up with a few of mine. Working on two different pairs ready to spawn now and have 20 or so really pearly starting to fade 2.5" shortbodies. I was hoping you would have some luck with all those sb carpintis you had got.

I think we should attempt a trailer park boys tribute and build a secret model train on the border and use it to ship fish back and forth to each other.:ROFL:
 
Lol well post pics if you can of your latest...yea you hear the very odd time they can fertilize a couple eggs so ya never know. Im glad they survived my friends care :S
 
Going through 2nd gen sb grow outs some time in the next two days and was planning on taking pictures so I will post a few. Nice pearls and nice color on the faders so I will be sure to share some pics.
 
Here's a 1 3/4" male that has already showed me a breeding mask. Fading and piling on the pearls. Nice shape and fins. Most have even more pearls than him

Nice! any really reds or that you think may be? what were his parents? .pics?
 
Lots of slow faders so color should be good and red but it's just starting to show on most. I haven't had many quick faders that end up yellow or pale orange with that spawn so I'm excited. I will get pics of the parents when I take pics of the grow outs in the next few days.
Used flash on that pic so it killed the color but it's so much easier to focus on fast moving fish if I use it.
