my fish tank smells

i wish it was my imagination - its the chic i live with is doin the complaining (but shes right

yeah i do use prime but its not that smell its more sour/fishy

my tap is good

i feed with hirachi cichlid pellets but i never noticed this before

i have a good amount of sand on the bottom ill try stirring it up and do another wc
2moro, two 70% are enough for 1 day

maybe the carbon will help, but this came out of the blue,

snother thing is i do have some pest snails living in my filters (that i cant get rid of) but they have been there forever.

theres not something else like carbon i can use, like a fish safe deodorizer( going out on a limb here )

if using HOB check em, i know after a little while my hob's start to stink.......

may be ill try that too, i cleaned all the media but i could brake down the two ac 110 and give them a total cleaning

Don't break down all filtration on a working tank at the same time or you loose the bio side of the filtration.

its better tonight, but i can still smell it a little. i guess maybe it smells like fish because theres a boat load of big fish in there
