My Florida Gar 11+ years.

Here's a poor pic from earlier today. I am a few days behind on a water change, so tomorrow. I just replaced my filters and di resin on the ro unit. I also added chemi pure elite last week.

The gar, bass and JD show no signs of aggression toward each other. Diet has mainly been floating sticks and massivore (which makes such a mess).

I would like to add another gar. I also want some manzanita (sp?) wood in there.

Thanks. At least that. He was prolly 8-10" when i bought him, when i was 16...I'm 34 now.

Did a water change earlier and added some plants back in. 1 of the 2 tems. The 2 spot orino is hiding somewhere. Both tems are blind in 1 eye. I got behind on water changes in their growout tank. Also, i found a faux wood piece had trapped some waste. But, they still act normally.

Average 0.8 inch a year. Now i know how slow the spotted gar grow.

It doesn't really work like that. I'm sure they hit 15" very quickly.

He's in a 300 currently. 96x30x24
