A manaconda is NOT a jag and flowerhorn, its a jag and festae ONLY. You will most likely get a bunch of washed out looking jags, the reason people on here don't want you to sell them, is because they don't want these fish escaping to the lfs market. I also am not a fan of hybrids, but good luck, and you will def have some fish with attitude.

What is wrong with hybrids?

It isn't the fish themselves, it's the behavior of the people around them. They are sold by unscrupulous/ignorant dealers as purebreds of a given species essentially ripping people off either by accident or on purpose, some get released into the wild with a negative effect on the local fauna and sometime the flora as well (bad enough that purebreds get released but this "creates" all new fish to add to the problem), there are diseases that arise in hybrid lines that don't have the same strength in purebreds (note the recent yet rapid rise in the condition that seems to mimic Popeye+cancerous ulcers at the same time that seems to affect Flowerhorns almost exclusively), it gets harder for people who want original breeds to find them in lfs because those tanks are more and more loaded with Flowerhorns, Fake Parrot Cichlids, Balloon Mollies and other such oddities, and it also fosters an attitude of "I'm gonna stick these two fish together just to see what kind of babies they make" which isn't exactly responsible pet ownership.

Those are the things that come quickly to mind, but I may have missed others. Hybrids should not be spread through the hobby simply for the sake of a pretty/aggressive fish. Keep 'em home; in nature they would make great snacks.

Lol, gotta stop pulling stuff from your arse. Try putting some valid points next time. Id point out all your errors but its getting tiring.

Check this link out, designed for reptiles and such but works perfectly in the case for captive fish:

yes i agree if these hybrids get in the wrong hands i could be costly but trust me i am not ignorant and will not sell these as purebreads i will clearly state that they are hybrids so no one is unhappy

ya i hope these fish come out cool i just need help cuz idk wht to feed them and how long does it take for them to mature?

Is that a fader fh hard to tell in the pi. If you get some that look like jags with the fade gene they would be very interesting

Lots of species of fish naturally aspired, why the need to mix up fish and sell them? Thats a horrible thing!. Its exactly for the reason that someone else said previously, it might look like a jag, a ugly nasty jag, and will get in the hands of some one who thinks its a jag and then breed it with another jag and just completly dilute the strain, very irresponsible of you to sell them. You kids dont get it.
