I have never kept a FH, but yours truely makes me want to get one! is yours a certain strain? what do you feed to get those colors to show so vibrant?

Thanks he is really nothing special he changes colors when he wants to from black to pale ish grey to that vibrant Color you see in my avatar,

He is a Red Dragon He was an import,

He is 9 1/2 inches and eats Omega One Cichlid Pellets,

And on the occasion when they are breeding he will get Spirulina Brine Shrimp mixed with Glass worms,

Thats about it lol,

I saw a Flowerhorn/parrot hybrid not too long ago at my LFS, was really really cool looking! Good luck with the brood, I'm sure they'll be amazing if they live to grow.

What a beast, hard to get a good size estimate until you put up the full tank shot. Is that a 55 or 75 gallon? How are the eggs looking? I may actually be spending a day or two in downtown Chicago starting on Friday.
