Many fish species go thru a "fading" or "peeling". When young the fish will be one color, then peel or fade as they age to their final colors.
When I got my Sagittae they were silver, with black bars. After peeling they were orange/white piebald.
I am not that skilled at determining if this is peeling or some kind of sickness. Maybe someone more skilled in that area will chime in.

What are your water peramaters?
Ammonia
Nitrite
Nitrate
Any other symptoms beside the color change
Tankmates, any new additions
Size of tank, water change/maintenance schedule

How is it acting with the other fish? Like the parrot? Is it cleaning and guarding a corner of the tank?
It has something sticking out, get a better picture.

Water condition is ok brought sample water to petsmart seems ok..
Its 55 gal tank o knownits crowded for 8 fishes.. it has 7 parrot fishes in that tank.
I have a canister filter for 100 hala and a top filter...

She dropped her egg tube and looks ready to lay eggs. Females can lay eggs without a male around. If she does lay eggs and they turn white after a day or 2 you know they are bad. If there is a fertile male parrot around you might get lucky
