I've had the Goliath since February and at first I was just concentrating on getting him fat on cut catfish and tilapia. And after he got very comfortable in the tank I started starving him. It took about 50 ish days and he started accepting pellets today! And having my bambusa as a teacher fish definitely helped. Both of them are around 7" now. Here is a video of the gatf and the bambusa eating some hikari sticks and massivores:

The Bambusa is actually still in live feeders but it does occasionally take some fish slices. :)

So it went 50 days without eating anything?
Around 50 days. Although he might have eaten some pellets in the middle but I didn't see him eat anything. This pic is from the 23rd of May and that was the last time I fed him cut fish. He ate a lot of salmon and catfish:

And this pic is from two days ago, you can see that hes lost a lot of weight:

Congrats man, looks like mine unfortunately doesn't eat anything but live.. And they are big now.. When I starve them, just ends up biting other fish in aggrrssion which causes too much damage at their size..
