oh I thought you were selling both. Try to get a brevis, they are so much cooler than VATF and FATF IMO

I adore brevis as well, they're my second favorite species.

Be careful if you get one though, these fish are notorious for killing and eating fish that are larger than they are. They're the only ATF that habitually eats prey items that are larger than it is in the wild.

ATF's nip and chase, its just what they do .... this usually doesn't become a problem until one claims dominance, then I've noticed the beatings really crank up and injuries start appearing .... mine fought more when smaller, and then relaxed as they grew, however I had a ton of other fish in the tank, and the ATF's seemed to stop fighting once the Dorado entered the mix and claimed dominance .... another issue is when one becomes significantly larger, he will often pound on the smallest

I've always wondered how a Dorado would fit into a Tiger pack. Doesn't the Dorado out compete for the food?

Oddly enough, no .... he eats slowly much like the tigers, 1 pellet at a time ... he gets a little nutty when I feed silversides, but so do the ATF's, the Dorado will chase whoever gets the first one and tries to steal it, but once he gets his 1, everyone eats one at time ..... not like bass that will eat the first 15 pieces you put in and nobody else gets any

I believe you meant to say Be careful WHEN I get one

Just added a vittatus to the pack. There was a lot of yellow on his tail but is slowly fading away after being put in the tank. He is around the same size of my 3 goliaths. I have another yellow tail forskahlii that is getting shipped to me by the end of the week and all ill need is a brevis!
