Parrot fish can be aggessive also. They just dont have the mouth to do damage. They take forever to grow also.

well one thing that i can mention is my family has been in the aquarium hobby for bout 20 years now an my mom is the head manager over the pet supplies which includes the tropical fish. an they do get cared of. an she also gets a 10% discount off the $5 for the fish lol so its basiclly a steal.

On the subject of Walmart fish... The walmart around me has less than perfect stock and conditions, but that doesn't mean that they all do. I'm sure your mom does a good job

Hence, why i said "Generally". Its funny every walmart I've been to always has firemouths with assorted africans.

yea the most unusual fish they kept was dragon fish. an the local pet store were my cousin works keeps ther convicts with parrots an she said she has never had a problem with them. lol but ther has never been a breeding pair in the tank either.
