So i resolved to empty one of my 2 lakes. Since 5 years that i've never touched it. So this time i decided to do it. You can imagine the mud that should be at the bottom.

In addition to this, i had a problem, because i wan't seeing new reproductions. I think that were 2 Chanchitos - Australoheros Facetum - that eated everything. I knew that i had 2 males.

By the way, the Chanchitos are the only cichlid that lives in rivers here in Europe. They can be found here in Portugal and Spain.

So I started by removing the floating plants

Then I started to empty with this pump.

The fishes were BEAUTIFUL.

The only problem was that they weren't many. But now that i've removed the Chanchitos i believe there will be more.
