Well i finally sold him back to my LFS. Was not planned. Had him bagged and was planning to drop him off at the pond in my Grandparent's house. Took him to the LFS to fill up oxygen.

He took one look and said he wants!

Such a beauty but too shy for my liking.

Now to sell off my plecos and get me a RD \m/

I hear you there about the none wet pet aspect of your fish. Been thinking of doing the same with my JDs.

It's definitely not a GT thing though to hide all day. Something was bothering him.forsure.

My gt tries to kille through the glass, the older he gets the meaner he is getting. He used to go to his cave more often now I never see him in there. Always just swimming around following me.

Make an effort to interact with the new fish alot. Keep him solo for best wetpet results. I think a midas would be a great option or a flowerhorn.

Thanks guys. Yeah i think the days in the pond had him feeling naked in the tank Even with driftwoods, rock caves, floating plants, dim lights he just refused to settle down. He lost the stress bar though.

Feeds well enough. Grew a lot. Such a beauty. Was a pity to sell him off.

Was hard enough selling off my 9 clowns, then this and next my lovely plecos

Hope the midevils at the LFS turn out to be active fishes for my son to watch. Memories of a red devil i had 15yrs back are still fresh in my mind.
