my GT needs friends? suggestions?

or a Port or a Blue Acara and a few Clown Pleco ,

Or just go with a few Silver Dollars .

The GT doesn't need friends. What size tank is it?

filament barbs are great dithers and are always active and very bright. i recommend all males or a ratio of 1:3 (m:f) because the males are like guppy males and never give up. they constantly harrass the females.

Uaru A. if you have the room and your GT isnt very aggressive.

Bad idea, a 55g is a bit on the small side for a full grown uaru, and unless you have a freakishly passive gt the uaru will almost certainly get beaten up.

Giant danios work well, but they like to jump.

really????? i guess this is a figment of my imagination. bare in mind this GT killed a large syno cat in front of me because it nipped his tale and used to beat a psychotic sev if it got out of place. He also owned parachromis loisellei. not exactly "freakishly passive".

I did say only if he had the room, but i didnt notice the 55g tank size he said at the start. so uaru are out anyway.

At that size I'd say the uaru are too big for food and too small to be seen as a threat. You might have a different result if you put a single 8" uaru in there...
