My heart was nearly broken - how i almost hung up my poles - can you help?

Incorrect. Bass spawn in new world cichilid size numbers and a 35 acre lake over ran with 10inch bass proves spawn is on. We have 3 year olds that don't see 12inches let alone the 14 inch legal length. Bass are so protected that they are stunted in even the largest lakes. I fish several lakes that should have 100lbs of fish taken out.

I think it really depends on where you are located..

I know here in PA.. good luck finding a nice size bass unless it's a private lake.

Well, he didn't go blabbing and spewing his beliefes to them.. he went on with his day as an adult would do.

I would feel the same way that he did if I had the knowledge about fish that he does. He's concerned about the bass that are naturally there, and not the farm raised ones.

What if it wasn't a bass? What is it was... an animal that is easily bred in captivity, but not easy to come across naturally breeding ones, and then killing 5 just because you can.

Northern bass are not that big compared to the Florida strains. As for your muskie being rare..you are incorrect after all they don't call the muskie "Fish of 1,000 cast" for nothing.

You obviously have not fished in PA... when you find a muskie in PA, tell the fisherman because they are all looking for them.

Then blame on fishing regulations. They don't broke the law at all and they ate all of the five bass. The largemouth bass are dirty common and can easily spawning without any problems that they don't need any extra help from fish hatcheries.

I love how you think I have nothing. I work 60+ hours a week working for the Department of Education, I OWN my own home, I own my own car, and ran a fully operational dog rescue for 2 years before a medical issue with a dog forced me to focus on him. I am also 1 step away from owning my own business.

So now tell me, what the hell have you done in your life? What did you accomplish other than bong hits when you were 21?

I grew up to know that you have to work for what you want... if you don't have food on your table, get off your ass and get a job.

I do own my home, as it is Paid in Full as of last month. So yes, It's owned by me and my fiance.

I am far from a spoiled yuppy brat. I lived in a trailer court until I was 16 because it's what my parents could afford. My mom worked 2 jobs when it was needed, and my parents taught me to never ask for handouts and work for what you want/need no matter what you have to do.

I'm sorry that you seem to think the entirety of today's generation has everything handed to them- because that is far from the truth. Your kids will never learn work ethic unless you teach them what it means to work for your money.

Nothing is free, and I'm sorry that you feel the need to bash me. I think you have some personal issues of your own that you need to deal with.

Do not fish the susquehanna river.. you will only catch tire fish.
