bassaddick01::::::::you arowana is rtg or highback is same kind, under 4-5 level say is rtg, 5-6 level say is highback, if you love it is ok, dont care who say, you have asian aro, no body have it. funny. buy the price and color.... not buy the name with cert.... i thing....^^

Hi Moonboy2014

Thank you for your comment. I do agree whether my certificate does say higback gold , it does not matter I bought 8 juvies and love each one and I agree with you, its not what specie you own its the love of the fish that counts the most.

He is only 2yrs plus certificate shows 12/27/2011 from Forever Arowana Aquaculture and he is F2 generation between 15-20inches so who knows if his level5 will get better if not oh well I still love my fish and your right , there are many members out there especially in the USA that would love to own any Asian arowana but cannot.

When you say buy the price and color not name with certificate, I 100% agree because, I bought 8 juvies 3-4inches so I could not base it on color had to rely on name/certificate and those 8 fish cost me a bundle. I can say my 4 REDS definitely are starting to show incredible progress. See my RED thread. let me know what you think.

Cheers

Bassaddick01, you have great Asian arowanas, anyone say any different is stupid. But try not to get too defensive about negative comments made on this forum. Best to ignore them. I'm like you in a way that I don't care what exact type of fish I have and whether or not someone says it is or isn't what I bought it as. Arowanas are awesome, especially Asian ones. Us in America are totally jealous that we can't legally own them. I'm hoping I can move to Japan where my wife is from and get me one. Someday!

...this is what a real high back red tailed gold looks like...

I'm no arowana expert but this looks like a super high quality hbrtg (almost like a crossback). Nice!

Imo, arowana's are arowana's no matter what the color or scale type or whatever reason anyone would like to use (To me, personality is a huge factor when it comes to Aros, and yes, I watch them for minutes and I know I'm weird lmao).

They're all elegant and magnificent. Just gotta love em.
