55Gallon.

11 Fathead minnows
2 or 3 black madtoms
1 dollar sunfish
5 central mudminnows
1 central stoneroller
maybe 1 pirate perch?

120GALLON
3 bluegills
1 longear
1-3 black crappie(s)
1 tire track eel
1 lake chubsucker
1 warmouth
1 Florida brown bullhead
3 creek chubs (or other predatory minnow that gets more than 5 inches)

Thats all I can think of right now.

I think that you should have larger species of sunfish, crappie and a bullhead in a 120 only. I would leave longear sunfish in a 55 gal with larger minnows such as red shiners, creek chubs, stonerollers, mudminnows. Tho the fathead minnows may get eaten by mudminnows, pirate perch and longear sunfish.

I guess they might. Thething is that I would have to get them at small sizes. My LFS has 3 fathead minnows at about 2-3 inches from a batch of feeders. I could use the 20 as a tank to raise the Fathead minnows until bigger. At he size I have said for my Longear, What size fish would it eat???

Oh sorry, I didn't see the thing about the longear eating the Fathead minnow until now:ROFL:. About the creek Chubs, do they need to be in cold water? or room temps fine? Thank you for your answers.

I was thinking of also adding 1-3 white crappies and/or 1-3 Sacramento perch.
The list would look look this

120 gallon
3 bluegills
1 longear
1-3 black crappie(s)
1 tire track eel
1 lake chubsucker
1 warmouth
1 Florida brown bullhead
1-3 white crappie(s)
1-3 Sacramento perch.

55 gallon

2 or 3 black madtoms
1 dollar sunfish
5 central mudminnows
1 central stoneroller
1 pirate perch
3 creek chubs

Post any problems with this setup.

Your plans for the 120gallon looks like it will be pretty over stocked, if you plan 2-3 on the Black Crappie, White Crappie, and the Sacramento perch.

I said 1-3 as in if I am able to get more, I will. Also I need to find out if the fish hatchery will sell individuals 1st. lso the 120 would not have the Long ear sunfish in it. I'm still working on the list.

In the 120 your tire track eel will get eaten by your Bullhead, in the 55g your fathead minnows will definitely become lunch for the Dollar sunfish and the Mudminnows; I would put in 1 male Dollar sunfish and 3 female Dollars (to displace aggression among the sunnies), put in 4 Large shiners from the Luxilus sp (for pretty looking Dithers) and only have 2 Mudminnow and you should be ok. Pirate Perch would be Ok only if you have lots of structure for him to hide in during the day (theyre nocturnal). You will need really good filtration and structure for both tanks....but I like it and think it could definitely work.
