and sorry the tortoise enclosure is so messy. I have been so busy with school I hadn't cleaned it for a little while but I cleaned it up and put more hay in for them. They go through that like crazy.
Kara is the enclosure moveable at all? With the mesh walls you could move him outside when it gets warm for some real sun, it will be great for him.

It would be hard to take it outside, you have to take it apart to get it through the doorway so I'd have to put it back together outside, and then take it apart again to bring it in. I have a little leash for him and I took him outside on that a few times last summer while the tortoises were out grazing. We'll likely do the same this summer.
Jordan says he's done with the gar forum....same questions repeated over and over and people that think they know everything telling them something wrong...but we're still into gar. We've got our trop, florida, and shorty. they're doing great. What size tank are you looking at getting?

The current tank is a 170G, hoping to get hold of something wider, 6'x30" or 36". 7' would be better but that's an odd size, and I don't have space for an 8' tank. Good to hear the gars are doing well though, especially that shortnose.
