Got these guys monday. Imported from brazil arriving at tony orso Usa on sunday.
4 manacaparu blue
4 green tefe

Adults about 5-6".
I acclimated them into the tank which had been running for them for almost two weeks after i completely changed over the tank and it was settled in. I am running peat in my 405 and plan to change it out ever 2-3 weeks because it loses its softness after that time so ive heard. Tank has just river gravel with some flourite mixed it. Water temp is 84 degrees

the ph is around 6.2 and the tank is blackwater and soft. Lots of plants and driftwood
might add some leaves to rot in the water to futher the blackwater aspect

They are pecking at brine shrimp right now
Other tank mates are two wild angels
6 apisto hongsloi
16sterbai corys

Still need to add some tetras

this is just a temporary holding tank until i bring them up to my cousins hose and put them in a bigger tank this summer

not adding more discus to this tank. The whole theme was a wild blackwater tank. Adding CB discus would defeat the purpose. still have some plants i have to add and driftwood im cleaning off

ok i c;)... but keep us updated once you add the rest of the plants and wood

Give your plants to grow in and it'll be beautiful
