My lame attempt at a show discus tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
What kind of lighting do you have?

Just have flourescent lighting on this tank nothing out of the ordinary, might have changed out into some higher K bulbs last year but i cant remember. When i upgrade tanks i will go with a t5/ aqualight ( I already have a 36" aqualight laying around)

Not concerned with the lighting because they are mostly lowlight plants in there.

The ludwigia and other plants in the background on the left side of the tank arent taking to the heat very well so those are being replaced by some more anubias probably.

I think you should swap out the gravel for sand its much more attractive, I started an oscar tank with gravel instead of sand and it was so much uglier for some reason but thats one mans opinion and maybe paint the back black blue looks tacky. Other than that its pretty nice.
