thanks again all for the comments! for those who are ready to attempt a DIY project, the best advice i can give is to plan your build, and build your plan. i never do this...lol.. and following the picture in my head never turns out the exact way i want it, but still does the trick...most of the time.

Sorry havent check this thread in awhile, Thank you all for the comments again. i should add though, i recently changed out the plain wall look and went to a wood finish look, still floor to ceiling.. oh and i finally put in a big piece of driftwood. thanks again all!

i didn't like the 1st pic w/the huge canopy/cabinet on the top, but after everything fishes, it luks AWESOME. realli gives the tank, even the room a clean and organized look!
