I know man its crap , sometimes I catch them off guard and find a gem or rare fish they know nothing about tell them its something else and make a cheeky offer ;)

They sound like the type of place who's name should be mentioned and sounded off on.If this were my thread I'd have no qualms against putting them on blast.

lol, one of my lfs was selling adonis plecos as bristlenose plecos. Best $8 I've ever spent:D
 
Hahaha my mate got a fh from them I managed to get it for £10 because he thought it was a salvini :D , he probably got the sack when the boss got back poor lad :confused::D

Don't bash your LFSs. They are closing left and right. Are you happier with chain stores like Petsmark and Petco that sell only kid's fish? the best independent LFS in my town don't trade fish with customers as they don't want to pick up hybrids or sick fish that ruin their reputation. It's their right not to trade fish with customers. Chain stores don't trade fish either and they know less about fish than the worst independents. You are lucky if you still have independent LFS left.

+1 3 of my favorite shops closed last year. Aquarium Depot, exotic aquatics and another place...

So,we are only to gush nonstop about the good points at a particular store and remain mum about the unsavory stuff?....It don't work like that.I rarely go into the big box pet stores mainly due to their prices,the only good thing about those places is they employ people.
