My Lima ShowelNose

Got this beauty an hour ago Sorubim lima.
Dont know that much about it yet but from what I was reading it doesnt get much over 12" in home aquariums and is not very aggressive. Its about 4" now.
Comments and helpful notes on the Lima are very welcome.

It will eat all your smaller fish. Apart from that it is a lovely cat fish and yes it does not grow us much as shovelnoses....

yeah its ok if it eats the Tetras (on pic1) Im just waiting to see when and which 'monster' can eat them first. And i will switch out the Rainbows and Guramis if they get too small for their tankmates

say goodbye to your smaller fish. Lost 10 tetras over a night to my 3,5 inch lima nice pick up though, good luck with it

what do these guys like to eat other then live fish?
I have live earth worms, bloodworms, shrimp, lambheart, catfish pellets...

When I had one they ate anything that fits in their mouth, and that covers alot.
