Yeah, sorry about that. It's an assam. I was just positive that it wasn't a bleheri. I think Assams are different species than bleheri, and not just a varient. Bleheri are nest builders, and I've read that Assams are mouth brooders.

nice assam. mouth brooder, with horizontal tail stripes. blerhi have more vertical tail stripes, and is not a mouth brooder. get a couple more and you'll be breeding in no time.

want just to do an update... yesterday was the first time i fed the channa in the hand... real cool not so important i changed the layout of the aquarium because with the way i had before they haven't hideouts and it was very difficult to clean the tank
