sorry, it just seemed like a conversation between just you two and i didn't really mean it in a mean way. I don't know why i said that. at the moment i was just ticked off. I was really meaning that a one on one conversation could be held elsewhere... sorry again.

No biggie. I posted those post of some of my reptile bloopers so everyone would get a kick out of them. I got a lot more of them I was just sharing a few but having a extreme reptile like these is definitely an experience

Nice looking niles! Several years ago, I bought a nile monitor. Man was that thing mean as :swear:. I couldn't touch it without getting whipped or bit. I still loved her dearly. It was fascinating to watch her hunt. Sadly, I sold her 3 years ago, she reached about 5 feet head to tail.

I got two new ones, so I'm up to four now. I'll post some pictures when they're done eating.
Remember, meddle not in the affairs of dragons, for your fingers are crunchy and delicious. :D Pics! Of them and whenever they draw first blood!

I've to decided to let them add on some weight before pictures because they're not as plump as the first two.

As for drawing blood, the largest of the four did that a few days ago. I was pretty surprised that it managed to even break the skin let alone draw blood considering that my old alligator didn't even draw blood when she gave me a love nip once.

No major updates other than I have names for the larger two Niles. The largest one is now called "Chomper" for obvious reasons; "he" will run around the cage when I go in to clean their water dish then will slowly come up to my hand & say "I love you!" with "his" teeth. The other one is now called "Zippy" because it thinks that I'm a tree and uses me as a means to escape the enclosure & go for a run around my room...

I'm usually more concerned with them escaping when the enclosure is open rather than getting pictures of Chomper attempting to eat my fingers. The little turd doesn't want to eat his mice but is perfectly content with eating fingers...

Name copying much? LOL.... I'm working towards a Sav or three, I have worked out names and an enclosure design, and I have more than enough money saved up, all I need now is the back wall of the garage...
I am still thinking about how many, one or three. Feeding one would be easier, but having multiple ones would be more fun, and breeding could be possible. What I may do would be get three and once I knew the sexes, if I have a pair, sell the third one, and keep a pair. That's probably the most likely.

Do as I was told: Buy four to six of them, raise them to a sexable size, then sell off any spares. Knowing the sex of your monitor(s) is majorly important for long-term keeping as no one wants an egg-bound female after all.
