Ya I found a good deal and really missed them so I figure I would like to grow them out and sell them when they are big. It’s hard to find big bass for sale around here.

They are still quite shaken up from the move. They have claimed a spot near my heater and filter intake. Once they start coming out I will start shooting some photos.

Two of them seem to have sunken bellies so it’s kind of touch and go right now. I may have done a bad thing by not qt them. My other qt tank is a bit sketchy right now so I had to take a gamble.

So far they have taken blood worms and brine shrimp. The previous guy said they were eating bug bites floating pellets but I’m not getting that so they will have to eat what I have....

I threw them straight into the 180. Hope the rays play nice while they are small for the next couple months. They came from the last batch of bass from Pisces.

Golds often have them from 2-4” but usually are only in store for a week at best. They go through them so fast it’s hard to get them unless you catch them when they first arrive.

So they are still very shy but are coming out a bit more. They have mouthed some of the pellets but not sure if they have swallowed much. I have tried with nls large fish and sera immunpro. The sera is very similar to the bug bites so I figure it could be a good bet.

They are at least showing interest in the food which is a great sign. But 2 are very skinny so I threw some blood worms in there to try and get them used to eating that so I can start medication here soon.

They were listed as 3” and $20 each..
I paid $30 for all 4 and they are 4.5-5”....

I kind of feel like a drug addict who just found a good dealer.
Back in the game.
I would never judge another keeper for what they have for a tank or a fish or group of fish. If I do make sure and kick me because it's plain wrong.
Advice is one thing.
"I told you so's" are another.
Everything you have posted that I see shows you care and you are smart.
So thumbs up for that.

So these guys are already begging and recognizing me as “the food guy”.

2 are still pretty skinny so I am dosing bloodworms with fenbendazole and also feeding nls hex Sheild. They are (mostly) accepting these. Trying to get them to put on some weight. One of the bigger ones even managed to choke down a massivore pellet and keep it down- I was impressed.

Thanks Dave

I am really happy with these guys so far. Can’t complain on any front. They eat almost anything I offer. Their colours are already starting to look much more spectacular than the last batch.the photos hardly do any justice to them.
