How do you prepare that? Mince a clove of garlic, stir it in a cup of water, then drop in the worm?? Or what??? How long do you let it soak???

They are predators. Pellets probably make their markings and color look really good, I would like to think. I keep LMB because I enjoy watching and learning about their behavior. Hunting prey is a key factor in their behavior. I will try and feed mine some pellets and see how he reacts. I am on the look out for a few baby crawdads.;) Any other LIVE alternatives???

I feed mine crayfish on occasion. I like the pellets because they provide a very balanced and nutritional diet. I also feed krill and on occasion for a treat, I'll feed a sucker minnow.

Thats pretty much it. Distilled water, minced garlic, and a live worm. The worm will live for a while in there, absorbing the garlic flavor.

A word of caution though, the worm will smell really good when you pull it out... fight the urge to taste it.

You would have to do some serious water changes if you think about it, still sounds weird though, but if you say it works i'm game to try.

Na, it isn't bad. You just have to stay away from garlic extract or garlic essence. It will seriously make you water stink.

What I actually do now is take a pickle jar, with minced garlic, and fill it half full with distilled water, and a teaspoon of crushed baby vitamins. Then I fill it the rest of the way with worms.

I only feed this to them twice a week, and usually the day before I skip a feeding day.

You do this on a regular wkly basis or just when the fish don't want to eat?? And now baby vitamins!!!, i'm starting to wonder what else you do with your fish when there is a problem!! How did you come up with these ideas ?? I'm sure there was alot of trial and eras but i have never heard of something like this in all of my fishing years, it would be nice just to find out how you come up with this and maybe pass on a few hints(wink wink)all i can say is keep up the good work, the main priority is the fish of course.

It does sound very strange. I am hesitant to try it.. Won't the garlic just wash off as soon as it hits my tank water? I would also like to know how you come up with this or if it was passed on to you? Baby vitamins is just too weird for me to even ask. So is the hot ticket when you go fishing at the lake to use the garlic soaked night crawlers???

I would assume it does provide them with a very good healthy diet. I will try it, What brand of pellets do you recommend? My bass is only 3.5 inches. I don't know though I can't even get him to eat a live worm... I wonder how he will react to a pellet. At this point it seems like the only way he would eat it would be if I sowed it onto the back of a minnow.
