This is Bracket and Spotty.
They have been very obviously pairing up for a few days and ferociously defending their corner of the tank.
I had already decided to keep Bracket as hes developed into a bit if a bruiser and was seriously considering trying to keep little Spotty as his girlfriend as she is a sweetheart... and FIESTY! So I'm so happy they chose each other...!
She's WAY smaller than him, so what I'll do is put in plastic tube (with sand siliconed over, so it blends in) which only she fits in, in case he gets heavy handed....

And then there were two...
Sadly, the other four had to go today. Bloke in the shop said he already had somebody coming in tomorrow to take two and he'll probably keep the other two...! So that's nice. At least they're rehomed...
Bracket and Spotty have been exploring their new expanded territory and they are so cute together!
I must find a perfectly sized hiding tube for her as soon as possible just in case.
I thought the tank would look empty and boring with just the two, in comparison to the six, but in fact the remaining two are filling the tank nicely by moving about allot and it's nice to see them in corners of the tank they were never in, cause it wasn't their territory. They were normally towards the back of the tank and now they're all over.
Also, the aggression was starting to worry me and that's gone. Happy tank!

I hate having to rehome fish, I want to keep them all! But at least it sounds like they have good homes lined up. That is some comfort at least.
Good luck on the pair! May they give you many mini versions of themselves.
