There's no way of determining what this fish will end up looking like, especially with its questionable history. Midas/Red Devils can look completely different as adults than what they looked like as juveniles. The peeling stage can leave them with a solid color, while others may retain some other color patterns. I've seen these fish go through changes in appearance even as larger adults. Diet also adds to their color. So basically it's just a waiting game. If it is some kind of FH, it could fade in other ways. You really can't pin point how it will turn out. Even if it were possible to see the parents, it still wouldn't guarantee how your fish will finally look. Just feed him quality food, keep up the water changes, and let him do the rest.
