I wanted to make a feeder tank cheap then decided to start netting minnows when spring gets here and thought I'd make a quarantine tank also.
So I stole the idea from midnight but adapted it a little to help aeration and water movement.

Here are the parts used: 2" PVC, 3/4" PVC, Bushings, Elbows, Cap, adn Scrubbies

I drilled two rows of holes with a 1/8" bit in the 3/4 PVC

Here is a shot of the 18 gallon quarantine tank already done

haven't research treatments yet(I still have some time, there's a few inches of ice between me and the minnows), feeding two peacock bass that are 5" right now...

Nice...., I have always wondered if this could be done successfully..., I am just worried about having to spend to much on treatment.....

well, right now I'm spending about $15.00 a week on feeders since I haven't gotten them off live food. They are only 5" now so any amount of wild caught minnows will help out quite a bit.

why would you have to treat them? I would think they will be much healthier than anything you buy that has lived its whole life in a kiddie pool full of poop.

Once you quarantine I would think you would be just fine.

i like how you did the spray bar

i dont use meds
if there wild caught,99% of the time there fine.
pet store fish are different.
i put all my wild caught in tupperwares so that the wild water is off them.
and some die from,the trip,water changing,esc.
so i let them die in holding tanks not one of the main tanks.
then i clean out the dead as needed.

plus, you need a tank to hold the feeders when not feeding right? :D
i have around 7 holding tanks,4 are tupperwares.lol

thanks for the replies guys,
